The parade of survivors was a very, very long one (a very proud moment) and I was amazed at your ability to continue piping until the last one crossed the stage. You played an excellent medley as well; I especially loved your choice of Mary’s Wedding in the mix - much more positive and upbeat than a lament or Amazing Grace.

Your contribution to Run Day is greatly appreciated, not only by the volunteers of the organizing committee, but by all in attendance on Run Day - especially the survivors.

"On behalf of the Downtown Kelowna Association, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to you for participating in the first year of the Downtown Kelowna Fusion Festival and for contributing to the success of the event.

The festival was a huge success with between 15,000 – 18,000 visitors attending the event site throughout the day.

At the last minute, it crossed my mind that my mother loved the 'pipes' and how great it would be to have them at her service. At very short notice, I contacted Kris, who immediately made himself available for our service. Kris showed up early, and at the request of my father, played prior to the start of the service.
